You can use your PDF to:
- Store any information as PDF
- Change you PDF icon to an animation by importing digital picture from your camera
- Link to your PDF a video file of a product, protocol demonstration.
- Drag and drop PDF file with other animation in patient’s folder
Your PDF files integrate in your office routine as follow:
Doctor/therapist encounter in their daily practice many patients with a similar condition, neither less those conditions needs to be explained to a patient using doctor’s time and energy. More and more patient are becoming expert on precise topics and a three minutes explanation which would have been sufficient 10 years ago, is clearly inadequate today. Rather than eluding the problem, DocuRehab enables the Doctor/therapist to solve the problem efficiently. The Doctor/therapist either buys from third party or customizes his DocuRehab interface by scouring the internet for clear definition, picture, diagram of common conditions encountered in his daily practice and then save them as PDF in the same folder as the exercise treatment for an identical condition (Wikipedia is one of many great source for such for such a search).
As you hit the print button to document your patient encounter and provide him with an exercise routine for his sciatica, you will also print a few pages describing what a sciatica is.
You may also want to sell this patient a lumbar support; there are recommendations that go with a lumbar support on how to use it. A PDF form pertaining to “How to use this lumbar support” is a great way to insure a good clinical thoroughness.
DocuRehab being a visual interface; you can visually customize the PDF icon in this case by importing the picture of your low-back support, your PDF file will show as an animated icon of someone wearing a support. You can also embed in your PDF a video file that will automatically play by clicking on your icon(without opening the pdf). The video file may just be a “how to use audio video” of any product that you sell in your office. Many vendors provide CD with their product which can be imported in the program.
